Accredited by the Romanian College of Physicians with 12CME credits, this hands-on workshop is addressed to ENT resident physicians and specialists.

The theoretical lectures are focused on the presentation of various basic surgical techniques used in rhinosinusal endoscopic surgery, but also the rhinosinusal pathology elements frequently encountered in the ENT practice are approached.

Endoscopic dissection on lamb heads represents a good opportunity to acquire the necessary handiness in rhinosinusal endoscopic surgery. This workshop provides the opportunity to get familiar with the ENT navigation system - one of the workstations is equipped with an ENT navigation platform.

During the workshop, the attendants:
- will get familiar with the basic instruments used in rhinosinusal endoscopic surgery;
- will get familiar with the ENT navigation system;
- will acquire the necessary knowledge for performing the basic techniques in rhinosinusal endoscopic surgery;
- will get familiar with the elements of rhinosinusal radiological and endoscopic anatomy;
- will find out key elements of surgical technique and preoperative preparation in order to avoid intra- and post-operative complications;
- will acquire the necessary knowledge for performing an appropriate postoperative care of the ENT patient.
