This intensive hands-on workshop is designed for ENT resident physicians and specialists who wish to develop their practical skills in rhinosinusal endoscopic surgery.
Throughout the event, participants will:
- Learn the basic surgical techniques used in rhinosinusal endoscopic surgery.
- Understand the common rhinosinusal pathologies encountered in ENT practice.
- Practice endoscopic dissection on lamb heads, acquiring the necessary dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Get familiar with the ENT navigation system to improve surgical accuracy and safety.
- Acquire knowledge of rhinosinusal radiological and endoscopic anatomy.
- Learn key elements of surgical technique and preoperative preparation to prevent intra- and postoperative complications.
- Understand the principles of postoperative care for ENT patients.
The program combines:
- Live surgery transmitted from the OR
- Theoretical lectures focused on surgical techniques and pathology recognition
- Hands-on dissection sessions on lamb heads for practical skill development
- Supervised practice with the ENT navigation system
- Expert guidance on preoperative planning, operative execution, and postoperative care
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
- Gain confidence in performing basic rhinosinusal endoscopic procedures.
- Strengthen both theoretical knowledge and manual dexterity required for safe ENT surgery.
- Be able to integrate navigation-assisted techniques into routine clinical practice, improving surgical precision and patient safety.
