Minimally Invasive Techniques for Inguinal Hernias - This event is fully booked!

The workshop, accredited by the Romanian College of Physicians, is addressed to resident physicians and specialists in general surgery, with little or medium experience in laparoscopic surgery.
During the 3 days, the attendants:
- will acquire the necessary knowledge for the correct interpretation of surgical anatomy, seen from the perspective of the laparoscopic approach (trans-peritoneal and totally extra-peritoneal);
- will practice the handiness of the right hand and of the left hand, in order to have the correct gestures for manipulation of funicular structures, sharp or blunt dissection in the pre-peritoneal space, insertion, positioning and fixation of the prosthesis;
- will acquire knowledge about the accidents and incidents that may occur during the laparoscopic approach of inguinal hernia, as well as the best modalities to resolve them .
The workshop comprises live surgical demonstrations, theoretical lectures, video presentations, case discussions, practical exercises with training on pelvitrainer, POP-trainer and functional tissues.
At the end of the workshop you will be more confident in your theoretical knowledge and your practical skills concerning the laparoscopic approach of inguinal hernia and you will be able to start using these techniques in your current practice.
