Interventional Endoscopic Ultrasound – How to do it?

Period: 27.11.2020 - 27.11.2020

Surgical Training Institute in organizing this WEBINAR under the auspices of RAES and SRED.

Accredited by the Romanian College of Physicians with 5 CME credits, the event is addressed to resident physicians and specialists with competence in endoscopy, with limited or moderate experience in endoscopic ultrasound.

At the end of the webinar, the attendants:
- will have the necessary knowledge for the basic technics of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS);
- will learn about the advanced techniques of EUS, including elastography, contrast-enhancement and fusion imaging;
- will have the necessary knowledge for the correct performance of EUS-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy (EUS-FNA/FNB);
- will have the necessary knowledge for the correct performance of drainage procedures (including pancreatic-biliary procedures);
- will learn about recent exciting techniques of interventional ultrasound (celiac plexus neurolysis, radiofrequency ablation, fiducial placement, etc.).

This event comprises theoretical lectures and live endoscopic ultrasound demonstrations, including case discussions, with images and videos.

At the end of this webinar you will be more confident in your possibilities and your practical skills concerning the application of elementary techniques concerning EUS and you will be able to start using the minimally-invasive approach in interventional EUS procedure, including EUS-guided FNA/FNB and EUS-assisted drainage procedures.
