Interventional Techniques in Digestive Endoscopy

Period: 21.02.2019 - 22.02.2019

The Workshop "Minimally Invasive Techniques in Digestive Endoscopy Interventional" is accredited by the Romanian College of Physicians. It's meant for resident physicians and general surgery and gastroenterology specialists with low or medium experience in interventional endoscopy.

At the same time, nurses can register for a similar workshop, accredited by the Order of General Medical Assistants, Midwives and Nurses from Romania.

At the end of the workshop, the participants:
- will have the necessary knowledge to use the electrosurgical instruments correctly;
- will have the practical ability to get hemostasis through a wide range of technicians;
- will have the practical ability to extract foreign bodies from the stomach;
- will be able to perform simple polypectomes;
- will be able to mark the resection site of the lesion;
- will be able to obtain digestive stenosis expansion by means of pneumatic balloons;
- will be able to close an accidental perforation with OVESCO clips;
- they will be able to establish a percutaneous gastrostoma.

The workshop includes theoretical lectures, practical exercises at POP-trainer (on the stomach and colon taken from pigs) and practical practice exercises under AGIOT.

The number of seats is limited to 18 for doctors, and 9 for nurses.
