This intensive hands-on workshop is designed for resident physicians and specialists in general surgery with an interest in colorectal pathology who wish to develop and refine their skills in minimally invasive colorectal surgery.

Throughout the 3-day training, participants will:
- Acquire the knowledge required to perform mechanical anastomoses correctly and safely.
- Gain a thorough understanding of laparoscopic surgical anatomy of the colon, with a focus on oncologic dissection principles.
- Learn the principles of proper patient positioning, trocar placement, and OR setup for laparoscopic colorectal procedures.
- Identify and manage intraoperative incidents and complications, applying optimal strategies for their prevention and resolution.
- Learn and practice the step-by-step techniques for performing right hemicolectomy, left hemicolectomy, and splenic flexure resection using a laparoscopic approach.

The program includes:
- Live surgery demonstrations
- Theoretical lectures and video presentations
- Case-based discussions with expert commentary
- Extensive hands-on training on pelvitrainer, POP-trainer, and functional tissue models

By the end of the event, participants willl consolidate their theoretical and practical knowledge, gaining confidence in applying minimally invasive colorectal techniques safely and effectively in their surgical practice.
